I feel so stupid. I�ve now spent three hours reviewing simple arithmetic in preparation for taking the placement evaluation tests over at Sac City. Basically they�ll be measuring my reading, writing, and math skills in order to figure out which classes I should be in. I�m not worried about the reading and writing part, but since my academic weakness is math, I�m planning on drilling the basic concepts into my brain before taking the tests. I�ve taken basic algebra twice and my highest level math class was Geometry as a high school sophomore. Wow � has it really been ten years since that class? No wonder I can�t remember any of it. Anyway, I�m hoping to place high enough on the tests that they�ll put me in one of the college-level math classes. Please, God, don�t let them put me in Math 101!

In less than three hours, I�ll be in my keiko gi learning Aikido. I�m so excited. . .
